Oklahoma has clinched its league-record 11^th straight Big 12 softball regular season title with a sweep of Kansas this weekend.

The Yayatees7 News 2023 – Sooners Secure 11th Consecutive Big 12 Regular Season Softball Championship team in the country has won a Conference-leading 15 regular season championships under head coach Patty Gasso.

OU is 15-0 in league play with a three-game series on the road against No. 7 Oklahoma State left in the regular season.

The two-time defending national champions have outscored opponents 385-37 this season while allowing just 11 runs in Big 12 play. Oklahoma has a 37-game winning streak and is 16-0 this year against teams in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The Big 12 is currently the top-ranked RPI conference and has four teams in the NFCA Top 25 Poll with three in the top seven. The 43% of the league ranked in the top seven is the highest percentage of any conference, while no other league has more than two teams in the top seven.

The Sooners will be the top seed and receive a first-round bye in the 2023 Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship held May 11-13 at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. The full bracket will be released once all regular season games have been completed.
